This post is not telling you what i may differ in or making you think how i think.
As you all know, there are questions going on on how media affects the way we think or how the government manipulate our thoughts.
I believe that we all love the unknown, most people do.
For instance, you found out that you have taken a longer route to the bus-stop and regretted for not choosing the other path (shorter path). Unlucky you. We always assume that the unknown (shorter path) is the correct excuse for your mistake and we love it. We want to tap into the unknown. But what we are missing out is the details that completes the picture. You never know, there is a lunatic with a knife lurking behind the corner of the shorter route. What i am trying to say here is, we always want to try the other side of the possibility not understanding how the situation might change.
A mirror does not have a reflection of its own. You are telling me that the government is instructing us on what to do, who to be without us knowing because as we grow up we can become workers (slaves) for them instead of people who can think and have the power to overthrow. OR even the media defining what is beauty, using beauty as a product appeal, people in Hollywood is what you should be like, the tv is the correct fact, therefore, we should not believe in them and no one is to tell you what to do what is right and what is wrong but yourself.
Solid reasoning, invulnerable. Or not.
If the theory exists after a long period of time (I am not saying it will exist) Nah. It won't exist, how am i supposed to differ from the majority? They tell me to eat i don't eat? They bathe with water I bathe in mud just because we should not believe in them as what others do is trying to influence us to think their way that water is the correct way to bathe in, but i strongly think it is mud. Maybe the example is a-bit too off, but people will still believe in something that is already there and majority is doing it and it makes them feel safe, so they can jump-start to another level without having to clear the bottom levels. That is the core reason that we can advance. Lets be optimistic and open-minded, all situations are possible and anything can happen. After centuries, a powerful leader and his generations managed to convince the whole world to practice self-reliability and differentiation of the society. Everyone is happy, however the unknown is so tempting that a few think that ideas should unite and there must be something some commonality among people, a higher power or any practices. People are so stupid not to think in the same way and have a reason to have a common set of goals to achieve. (Although these goals are seen as slavery now, but what happens if we do not have them anymore?) There will be nothing to live or fight for. Then after several centuries again, another powerful leader emerged and influenced the whole world to unite and have a society to believe in. This process goes in a circle, never ending.
Notice that no matter what kind of advancement we are in, leaders play the most important role. Therefore there is no stand alone single person that can accomplish anything by himself. The theory is that if there are living things, be it animals or human beings there will be leaders. These are selected people we can believe in and trust. Religions have priests, countries have presidents, zeitgeist(a revolution) have zeitgeist leader.
To conclude, keep what you think is right in your head, be self aware of what is wrong and right and blend in with the society. After all, it is just our mind craving for the unknown.
